Can you please review these sports betting books ? As beginner, I am interested to improve my knowledge on this field. Is it waste of time ?

If only they possessed that level of awareness.

More likely they are thinking:

"Leftists are trying to ban the Bible!!!! We are so oppressed because of our faith! It's like being thrown to lions for sport!"

How are books offering blatantly fixed FIFA matches to bet on?

Main Post:

So I was live betting on BetOnline.ag recently when I noticed there are constantly these "e-FIFA" games being offered.

I decided to watch a few of the games to see if maybe there are any patterns since it is an under the radar market.

Boy oh boy. These things are completely fixed. I don't even know how to explain it without you just watching the game. It's super obvious, they really aren't even trying to hide it. Like they are not putting these on as legitimate matches, it's as if they are just laughing at anyone degenerate enough to bet on this.

The players play like braindead monkeys. They do things that no real human would ever do in a game. When goals are scored, it is with absolute ease and it becomes clear the players "turned it on" for the goal. There should honestly be like 10+ goals a match but the totals are at 3.5 or 4.5 and sometimes they just kick the ball around for the whole game and blatantly go under.

Now, I would never suggest anyone ever bet on this. I am just honestly fascinated that this is going on and am wondering how they are allowed to do this on "respected" books. I am really really hoping that absolutely nobody is betting on these and that's why it goes without notice. But if you look in the chat for these Twitch streams there are usually at least a handful of people watching. Lot of foreign languages in the chat and if you translate it they are cursing these players for obviously fixing the match lol

Book or Betting Exchange?

Main Post:

Do you all normally bet with classic books or betting exchanges? Why?

I'm curious because betting exchanges have lots of academically understood benefits but I still see a lot of classic books. I'm prototyping a betting exchange but I'd really like to understand preferences and why people might elect for a book over an exchange.

You can only bet moneyline on major sports on betting exchanges

They charge commission no matter you win or lose, so you are risking more to win less. The 1.5% commission makes +100 odds -103 if you are the taker, and if you are the maker you will never get a matched offer unless the odds is swinging against you. On the other hand, betpoints at bookmaker for example makes you risk less to win more, not a lot but will be a significant difference in the long run

Book to bet on Kyle Rittenhouse trial outcome?

Main Post:

Are any sports books or other markets offering odds on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial? I’ve been following it very closely and would be interested to get some $ down if possible.

How did Patrick Bet David get successful? He's a fucking moron.

Main Post:

There was a LOT of stuff he said that was batshit but when he explained why Trump was an OK guy by listing a bunch of people and then saying they don't like Trump and that's why he's good it pretty much cemented that this guy got Mike Lindell level lucky to make the money he did. Then he went on to try and explain how trump probably didn't know about the shady shit going on despite there being literal evidence, and then immediately after had a conspiracy theory behind Lyndon Johnson becoming president. The dude is a moron.

Edit: just got to the point where he brought up George Soros and Andrew, who clearly didn't know anything about what he was talking about, went on a regarded ramble, and ended it with an actually good point, to his credit, of if there really are powers at be who control America, why would they allow him to have the power he supposedly does? To which this dipshit changed the subject to Tequila bc he couldn't answer it bc his conspiracy theory all of a sudden doesn't make sense anymore. I can't listen to this show anymore. Somehow Spotify instantly plays it after I finish other pods and I haven't learned my lesson yet to immediately turn this dogshit off. How it ever got popular is a really sad tell for the collective intelligence of the world.

Top Comment: PBD ran a MLM company. That’s how he made his money. He’s a good story teller no doubt but I don’t agree with his views on life and on politics.
